The Barigelli Auger Elevator series (Models C/E6 and C/E4) is designed to transfer washed and defoliated olives between processing stages in olive oil production systems. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the auger conveyor ensures hygienic handling of olives while maintaining durability for continuous processing operations.

These elevators are commonly used after washing or defoliation units to move olives into crushers or other processing equipment. The U-shaped auger design allows controlled and efficient movement of olives while minimising product damage.

Application

Auger elevators are used in olive mills to transfer olives between different processing stages. After washing and defoliation, olives must be moved efficiently toward crushers or other equipment without causing damage to the fruit.

The stainless steel auger design ensures hygienic operation while providing reliable movement of olives throughout the production line.

Model Differences

The C/E6 model is designed for larger olive mills and has a processing capacity of up to 4 tonnes per hour. This model is not compatible with the Barigelli Junior system.

The C/E4 model is designed for smaller operations and has a capacity of approximately 1 tonne per hour. It is compatible with the Barigelli Junior olive processing line.

1. Provides high torque regardless of the rotation speed required (important for oil recovery)
2. Allows dynamic modulation of the decanter speed via PLC.
3. Allows for immediate and secure evacuation of product in the event power is lost. (with other systems, such an event could leave the decanter partially or totally blocked, increasing the difficulty of restart)
4. The power requirements for normal operation of the centrifuge are minimised.

Oil clarification are critical step that can help to maintain the purity, stability, and quality of extra virgin olive oil. Once oil has been separated in the decanter, it still contains microscopic solids, waxes, and water traces.
