Barigelli Olive crushing system - Hammer Olive Press

The olive crushing mill uses 12 oscillating hammers mounted on a disk to crush the olives against a metal grid, with olive paste being forced through the holes.
The hammers completely cover the circumference of the disk, directing the olives in a spiral path, ejecting them out immediately after. This method minimises the amount of heat created by friction, in order to maintain the quality of the olive paste. The mill features a scraper in order to ensure fast evacuation of paste out of the mill.
