Using a tapener is a quick and efficient method for securing your young trees to the stake.
After you plant your trees they will need to be taped to a larger 1,500mm or 5ft stake. The taping tool will drastically reduce the amount of time it takes to secure your tree to the stake as opposed to tying by hand. The taping tool very quickly wraps a piece of thin plastic tape around the tree and stake, and in the same movement fastens it with a small staple. As the trunk thickens the staple is torn out of the tape, freeing the tree without ring barking.
